MyNewClinic vs Jane vs Cliniko

An honest, side-by-side look. We've marked the few things they do that we don't yet, because a comparison with no gaps isn't worth reading.

One flat price

£39/month for the whole clinic, not per practitioner, with no add-on tax for the basics. The more you grow, the more you save versus per-seat pricing.

AI that helps run the admin

Chat to book appointments, block your diary, raise invoices and think through a clinical question, built in. As of our last check, neither Jane nor Cliniko offers an AI assistant that acts on your data like this.

Things most PMSs don't offer

Promo codes, an open API, and a full data-protection toolkit handed to you.

Built for UK clinics

UK data residency, record-keeping designed around GOsC/HCPC standards (not regulator-certified), and a GDPR toolkit built in — not bolted onto a North American product.

Thinking about an AI scribe like Heidi?

An AI scribe like Heidi is great at turning your consult into a note. But it's a separate tool you bolt onto your clinic software, so you pay twice: once for your system, then again for the scribe, per clinician.

Heidi's paid scribe is around $150 per clinician a month, and even then you copy and paste each note into your records by hand. Writing it straight into the record needs their top tier and a system it plugs into.

SCRPT is the same thing, built into MyNewClinic. £14 per clinician a month, and the note writes straight into the patient's record, because it's the same system. No second subscription, no copy and paste.

If you love your current software and will never move, a standalone scribe works with anything. But if you're choosing a system anyway, built in is simpler and a lot cheaper.

Heidi pricing as published 2026 (Clinician plan, billed annually); check their current site. SCRPT is an optional add-on at £14 per practitioner who uses it.
